Eligibility

The MAS Undergraduate Scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens, as well as Singapore Permanent Residents who undertake to obtain Singapore citizenship.

We are looking for well-rounded individuals who have excelled in both academic and non-academic pursuits. You should have demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and contributions through your co-curricular activities or other endeavours. Beyond academic achievement, we value integrity, strong analytical ability and communication skills, adaptability and team player qualities. Above all, you should have a genuine commitment to public service and a keen interest in MAS’ mission and work.

The MAS Undergraduate Scholarship supports all disciplines of study, except Medicine, Dentistry, and Architecture.

You should have attained, or be in the process of attaining, one of the following qualifications: GCE A-Levels; International Baccalaureate; NUS High School Diploma; Polytechnic Diploma; or other high school diploma or equivalent.

If you are a GCE A-Level candidate, you should offer at least 11 academic units. IB students must have obtained at least 36 points to be considered. All candidates are given equal consideration and assessed holistically, regardless of the subjects they have taken.

You are encouraged to apply after receiving your final examination results. If this is not possible, you may submit your application earlier – if you are found suitable, you may be provisionally shortlisted, subject to confirmation upon the release of your results.

The Mid-Term Scholarship is intended for students who are already enrolled in university and who have developed an interest in pursuing a career with MAS during their studies.

In addition to meeting the above academic requirements, you should have minimally one semester of university results, and developed a clear understanding of your strengths and areas of interest. Applications should be submitted before the final year of your undergraduate studies.
